Our Nursery

Welcome to our brand new nursery where exceptional childcare of the highest quality awaits you. We are an open plan nursery with a no shoes policy for a cleaner and more comfortable environment.
At Little Genius Day Nursery, we pride ourselves on our unique approach to childcare. Our nursery is designed as an open plan layout with a dedicated baby area. This setup enables a tight-knit community and fosters friendship among children of all ages. It provides the older children with the opportunity to develop empathy and leadership skills and the younger ones to benefit from observing and learning from their peers across different age groups.
We also pride ourselves on being a unique, no-shoe nursery as we prioritise cleanliness and comfort for all our little ones. We ask parents to provide their child with a pair of indoor shoes to wear during their time at the nursery.  

Convenient Location

Our nursery is conveniently located just a short, 30-second walk from the DLR station, connecting us to Stratford and Canary Wharf seamlessly. With both Stratford and Canary Wharf just 10 minutes away, busy parents can enjoy quick and convenient access to major hubs while ensuring their child is well-cared for in our nurturing environment.

Additionally, our location is serviced by several bus routes, including the 108, 309, 115, 15, D6, D7, and D8, providing even more flexibility and accessibility for families. Join us and experience stress-free commuting and easy access to essential destinations for both work and leisure.

Our spacious outdoor garden area features a convenient buggy park, ensuring that parents can easily store and retrieve their strollers while dropping off or picking up their little ones. (CURRENTLY under construction)

Fresh and Locally-Sourced Ingredients

We source fresh, high-quality ingredients from local suppliers whenever possible. (Stepney Farmers Market located in Steney City Farm and Chrisp Steet Market). By prioritising locally-sourced produce and ingredients, we support local farmers and reduce our environmental impact while ensuring the freshest and most nutritious meals for our children. 

Variety and Diversity

We believe in exposing children to a wide variety of foods to expand their palates and encourage healthy eating habits. Our menu offers a diverse range of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean proteins and dairy products to provide children with a well-rounded and balanced diet.

Allergen Awareness

We are committed to catering to children with food allergies or dietary restrictions/preferences. Our staff are trained to recognise and accommodate allergies and intolerances and we take every precaution to ensure that all meals are safe and suitable for each child's needs.

Our Menu Offering

Our menu at Little Genius Day Nursery is designed to provide children with nutritious and delicious meals throughout the day. Here's a glimpse of what we offer:

 

Breakfast: A nutritious breakfast to kickstart the day, including options such as whole grain cereals, oatmeal, wholemeal toast with mushroom, tomatoes and scrambled eggs and fresh fruit.

 

Morning Snack: A mid-morning snack to keep children energised and satisfied, featuring snacks like sliced vegetables with hummus, cheese and crackers, or whole meal pitta sticks with raita.

 

Lunch: A balanced lunch that includes a variety of food groups, such as grilled chicken with whole grain rice and steamed vegetables; lasagne with garlic bread and peas or sweet potato and lentil soup with whole grain bread.

 

Afternoon Snack: A light afternoon snack to bridge the gap between lunch and tea, offering options like whole grain crackers with cheese, or mixed fruit salad and a glass of milk.

 

Tea: A wholesome tea to round out the day, with meals like baked fish with sweet potato mash and green beans, vegetable stir-fry with tofu and brown rice, or lamb meatballs with whole wheat pasta and marinara sauce.

 

Hydration: Throughout the day, children have access to fresh water to stay hydrated and healthy.
